Five soaps that people tend to photograph first and unwrap only afterwards. The design soaps gift set brings together striking designs from our workshop: Kriváň embossed with 2495 m n. m. (2495 m above sea level), Štrbské pleso with a panorama of peaks above the water, The Little Prince with the fox and the sun, a blossoming meadow with colourful little flowers and a green soap with a slice of citrus. All handmade cold-process soaps — pictures you can wash with.
How do you paint with soap?
The design is not a print. It is created right in the mould from streams of differently coloured soap mass — mostly with mineral colourants — and besides our hands, gravity has a say in the final arrangement of the colours. We then cut the block with a wire, so each bar captures the design in a slightly different cross-section. No two bars are alike. Literally.
Under the design, though, is plain honest soap: the cold process, curing on the shelf for at least 30 days and scents exclusively from essential oils. Beauty is a bonus here, not a substitute for the recipe. After curing, we also take every bar in hand once more, check it and weigh it — bars that do not meet our standards simply do not make it into the set.
