A blue sky, dark peaks, a green band of forest and a lake surface with the name written into it — the whole Tatra view poured into the layers of a single soap. Štrbské pleso is a vegan design soap with a woody-citrus scent of cypress, cedar, tea tree and bergamot that brings back the air by a mountain lake before you have even turned on the tap.
Where do the soap's dark peaks come from?
The dark summits above the water are coloured with activated charcoal — not because it is supposed to perform miracles in soap, but because it is an honest dark colourant that holds its colour in the soap mass. The layers are built up by pouring one after another, and we cut every bar with a wire, so your panorama will have peaks no one else has. Even the name in the water is written straight into the soap, not printed on the packaging.
The scent is composed exclusively of essential oils: cypress and cedar give a woody base, tea tree a clean green note and bergamot a citrus top. The result is not a perfume, more a memory of a morning on the shore of the lake — even for those who will not make it there this year.
The rest is our classic, made by the cold process: coconut and olive oil with cocoa and shea butter in a ratio calculated for a creamy lather, no palm oil, the glycerine that forms in the soap and stays there, and at least 30 days of curing on the shelf.
