When your head is full and your body has had enough, more scrolling will not help. Hot water will. Calming Bath combines pink Himalayan salt with Epsom salt and a single scent — pure lavender essential oil. Crystals of different sizes show through the window of the kraft pouch; in the bath they dissolve and turn an ordinary evening into a close to the day when body and mind switch to a slower pace.
Two salts, one essential oil
People have long associated lavender with calm. We promise less, and more precisely: a scent that sets the mood for sleep in the evening — do not expect therapy from a bath, because it offers none. Meanwhile the Epsom salt, that is magnesium sulphate, looks after the muscles: the magnesium in it is traditionally associated with relaxing stiff muscles after a demanding day. Himalayan salt gives the bath its base and the pouch its pink colour. Nothing extra. Nothing without a reason.
Even a 100% natural scent contains allergens — they are not added, they are a natural part of the essential oil itself. We explain why this is not a flaw in the recipe in our article on allergens in cosmetics.
When does this bath make the most sense? In the evening after a day that did not want to end — whether you spent it on your feet or in a chair. Sitting can leave you stiff too; the bath makes no distinction and helps both.
How to use: pour a handful of salt into hot water, let it dissolve, dim the lights and give yourself at least twenty minutes undisturbed, ideally shortly before bed. Then close the pouch tightly so the scent lasts as long as possible — 600 grams of salt is enough for several evenings.
