The name of this blend is honestly descriptive: it speaks of a time of year, not a treatment. Colds and sniffles is a herbal essential oil blend for damp, chilly days — eucalyptus staigeriana, tea tree, mint, thyme and lemon combine into a clean, sharply fresh aroma reminiscent of a gulp of cold air. 100% natural, nothing synthetic, in a 10 ml dark glass bottle.
What to expect from it — and what not to
A scent does not cure anything. With a blend bearing a name like this, we would rather say so out loud: when the wind is blowing outside and the air at home has gone stale, this combination of pungent herbs airs the room out and lends it a freshness that makes sitting under a blanket all the nicer. We promise nothing more. And nothing more is needed — tea and time will take care of the rest. The sharpness of the blend is no accident: eucalyptus and mint pull it towards the cool end, thyme and tea tree keep it clean and lemon adds light, so the result does not come across as stern as a pharmacy.
How do you scent a room with a herbal essential oil blend?
A few drops in the water of a diffuser or in the bowl of an aroma lamp are enough — the blend is concentrated and unfolds even in small amounts. It works best in a freshly aired room: it is not a substitute for fresh air, just a seasoning for it. Do not use it undiluted on the skin, protect your eyes and keep the bottle out of the reach of children; it lasts longest somewhere cool and dark.
