Is there even such a thing as men's soap?
Chemically speaking, no — saponified oils do not care who they are washing. Soap is soap: oils, sodium hydroxide, glycerine and a few weeks of patience. The difference lies in the design and the scent. So for this set we chose darker tones, a restrained design and scents built from essential oils instead of fragrance blends. No extra “for men” marketing powder. Just a different taste.
We cut every bar with a wire, so the wave, the vein and the feathers look a little different on each soap. Not perfectly identical — and that is the intention. The glycerine that forms during saponification stays in the soaps — chemistry made it, not a shopping list. And why soap as a gift for a man? Because it is a gift that gets used. It will not end up in a drawer next to three wallets and two belts — it gets used up, and while it lasts, it is a reminder every morning.
