MR BIG

A soap that is not afraid to show character. A cream top with two rows of blue arcs beneath it, one petrol blue, the other smoky — we pour and cut the pattern by hand, so you will not find two identical strokes; the colours come from mineral colourants. The name says it all — a men's soap, but just as good for anyone who wears a bolder signature well.

What does Mr BIG smell like?

Fresh and masculine at the same time: earthy patchouli and cooling peppermint meet sparkling lemon. All three scents come from pure essential oils, no fragrance blends. The ideal soap for a morning that needs a restart.

The recipe is built on saponified olive, coconut and sunflower oil, complemented by shea butter: olive gives the soap a gentler character, coconut a rich lather and the butter the firmness that lets it stand up to daily use. The glycerine that forms naturally during saponification stays in the soap. We make it by the cold process, wire-cut it and let it cure for at least 30 days before it makes its way to you — time is part of our recipe. The soap is vegan.

To keep it at full strength, let it dry between showers on a soap dish or in a soap saver bag. Mint essential oil is best avoided for toddlers and children under five, and during homeopathic treatment, whose effect it can weaken.
