LEMON BALM OIL SERUM

A herb garden early in the morning — that is exactly how lemon balm oil serum smells. Lemon balm leaves give up their fresh scent, with its gentle hint of lemon, to jojoba and apricot kernel oil during a slow infusion at low temperatures. The result is a light facial serum that absorbs without a greasy feel and suits both morning and evening.

What is actually in the oil serum?

Less than you would expect, and every one of them with a job to do. Jojoba and apricot kernel oil form the base in which the lemon balm is infused — slowly and at low temperatures, so the herb holds on to what we value it for. Sugarcane squalane keeps the texture light, and coenzyme Q10 with vitamin E complete the line-up. The serum gives skin nourishment and suppleness and supports its fresh look — every skin type will take to it. If an ingredient has no job in the recipe that we can put a name to, it is not in the recipe.

Use it on a damp face: gently press a few drops from the pump into the skin. On damp skin the oil spreads more easily, nothing is lost and the skin stays shine-free — which is exactly why we recommend the serum straight after washing or after a hydrosol, while the skin is still damp. The oil seals the moisture in beneath it and puts it to work. The amber glass of the bottle protects the contents from light, and the cool greenish label with a sprig of lemon balm gives away the scent before you press the pump.
