Most plant oils are pressed from seeds. Avocado oil is the exception — it comes from the flesh of the fruit, which is why it is richer than you would expect from the fresh green label. Cold-pressed and organic, it carries omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids as well as vitamins, and it belongs exactly where ordinary hydration is no longer enough: on dry skin and on hair that needs nourishment.
Avocado oil for skin and hair
On the body, apply it after a shower to still-damp skin — the drops of water help spread the oil, and it keeps the moisture in behind them. On hair it works as an oil treatment: massage it into the ends or the scalp before washing, leave it on for a while and then wash as usual, for example with one of our shampoo bars. A richer oil belongs before washing, not after — that is the whole trick. You can also oil the ends in between — a drop rubbed between your palms is enough to smooth them without washing.
Avocado has a reputation as a superfood. We would rather avoid that word; reputations are hard to measure, composition is easy. It is enough for us that every component of this oil has a reason — the fatty acids make it a rich, slower-acting nourishment, and that is exactly why we recommend it where light oils are not enough.
The bottle is made of amber glass, which protects the oil from light, with a pump for easy dosing. Store it away from direct sunlight and the oil will stay at full strength. Inside is 50 ml of a single ingredient — no additives, no enhancements, just oil from the flesh.
