ARGAN OIL

The argan tree grows only in south-western Morocco, and women there have always called the oil from its fruit liquid gold. We offer argan oil that is cold-pressed, organic and deodorised — in other words, stripped of its strong natural scent. Everything else stays: squalene and vitamin E, the two substances this oil is bought for. It is a gentle facial oil for everyday care — nourishing enough for the evening, light enough to forget about during the day.

Why deodorised argan oil?

Raw argan has a strong scent of its own, and not everyone gets on with it in their skincare. Deodorisation is a process that takes away the oil's scent, not its point — the composition stays exactly as it was. So our argan oil does not clash with any scent you love, and it lets the important part do the work. We have added nothing to it. Nor did we need to: it is one ingredient in a bottle.

How do you use it?

In the evening, one pump on clean skin is enough — instead of a night cream or underneath it. You can also add a few drops to your favourite cream or body lotion. The spray top on the bottle is no accident: it doses a little at a time and evenly, which makes it easier to stick to the rule that with facial oils, less is more. The amber glass protects the contents from light; give it a spot away from direct sunlight so it holds on to everything it has in it.

The kraft label hints that this is not about show but about the raw ingredient. That is exactly how we mean it.
