Wind off the water smells different from wind off the street. The Salt Touch citrus essential oil blend captures the former: elegant bergamot, fresh litsea cubeba and grassy-citrus lemongrass come together in a bright, faintly salty, fresh aroma of the coast. A 100% natural blend in a 10 ml dark glass bottle — no fragrance compositions, just three essential oils.
Three citrus characters, one scent
Bergamot gives the blend elegance and depth, litsea cubeba clean freshness and lemongrass a green, grassy note that keeps the whole thing grounded. In a diffuser or aroma lamp they create a clean, refreshing atmosphere in which it seems easier to breathe — for the bathroom, the kitchen and any room that could do with a breath of open space. Yet this blend has never seen the sea — and it makes no pretence: the salty impression comes not from salt but from a combination of citrus notes reminiscent of the air by the water. The associations are the honest work of the essential oils, not marketing. After all, you know bergamot from Earl Grey tea too; here it plays the same role — adding elegance.
How to handle a concentrated essential oil blend
Add just a few drops to the water — the blend blossoms even in small amounts. Try it in the bathroom in the morning instead of an open window, or together with one. Do not apply it undiluted to the skin, protect your eyes and keep the bottle out of the reach of children, somewhere cool and dark; dark glass protects essential oils from light. Citrus essential oils naturally contain fragrance allergens — they are not an addition but a component of the plants themselves, as we explain in our article on allergens in cosmetics.
