Salt Beauty got its warm honey-ochre shade quite naturally — from a pinch of natural colourant made from paprika. Beneath its simple, smooth surface hides a floral-herbal bouquet of lavender, geranium, ylang-ylang, rosewood and sage — pure essential oils, no fragrance blend.
Like all our salt soaps, this one carries a high proportion of finely ground sea salt. Thanks to it, the soap is exceptionally firm and lasts a long time; the lather is creamy rather than airy — with salt soaps, that is the recipe's intention, not a flaw. Beneath the surface, saponified coconut oil works in the company of black cumin seed oil and cupuaçu butter, both cold-pressed. It is vegan and, like all our soaps, has cured for at least 30 days.
