On the Waves – essential oil blend

The sea has its own pace and is in no hurry to go anywhere. The On the Waves essential oil blend takes exactly that from it: soothing lavender and citrus-fresh litsea cubeba come together in a calm, blue-toned scent reminiscent of a salty breeze off the water. Two essential oils in a 10 ml bottle, a 100% natural composition, no fragrance blends.

An essential oil blend for slowing down

Lavender brings the calm, litsea cubeba the freshness — so the result is not sleepy, just quiet. In a diffuser or an aroma lamp it sets a mood in which it is easy to switch your head off: in the bedroom before sleep, in the bathroom during a long soak, with a book that deserves an undisturbed evening. Two essential oils instead of ten is intentional: the fewer the voices, the quieter the room. This is not a scent that takes over the room. If anything, it quietens it. An evening with it follows a simple script — switch off the big light, add a few drops, open a book.

Why is so little enough?

Because it is a concentrate. Add just a few drops to the water and let the scent rise slowly — more drops do not mean more calm, only heavier air. If you are torn between a diffuser and an aroma lamp, this blend suits both — a diffuser disperses the scent faster, an aroma lamp more slowly and softly. Do not apply the undiluted blend to the skin, protect your eyes and store the bottle out of the reach of children, somewhere cool and dark; the dark glass helps protect the essential oils from light.
