Why are a few drops of lemongrass enough?
Because an essential oil is a concentrate — the fragrant components of the plant separated from everything else. A few drops in a diffuser or in the bowl of an aroma lamp are therefore enough, and the scent fills the whole room. Less really is more here: an overdose of lemongrass does not scent a space, it steamrolls it. If you are just starting out with it, begin with two drops — you can always add more, while airing the room out takes longer.
For the same reason, a few rules apply. Undiluted oil does not belong on the skin, has no business in your eyes, and the bottle should be kept out of the reach of children.
