The coffee-scented lip balm is a small stick in which beeswax and cocoa butter create a thin protective film on the lips against drying out in wind and frost. The scent is sweetish and gourmand — the one most of us love even before the first sip. It promises the lips no miracles. It protects them, and that is enough.
Why does the balm not soften even in summer?
We deliberately built the recipe firmer. Cocoa butter keeps the stick in shape even in the heat, yet the temperature of the lips is enough for the balm to melt and spread beautifully. Beeswax — the only ingredient of animal origin we use in the workshop — takes care of a layer that lasts on the lips. An honest admission comes with it: precisely because of the beeswax, this balm is not vegan.
And the coffee scent? A memory of a favourite ritual in a format that fits a pocket or a handbag — wherever you happen to be. The twist-up applicator means you apply the balm with one hand, cleanly and without touching it with your fingers — at the bus stop, on the slopes or in the queue for the real coffee. Chapped lips will appreciate it most in winter and in the wind, when they take the biggest beating.
How to care for it
Store it at room temperature and out of direct sun so it keeps its shape. If you prefer completely unscented care, our range of lip balms also includes a natural version with no scent or colourants.
