An honest piece of beech wood into which we have milled lengthwise grooves and small notches at the front — that is exactly where the water runs off instead of standing under the soap. It is treated with linseed oil, which protects the wood and gives it a warm honey tone, and carries a burnt-in MuSK logo on the side.
This is a clearance sale — the last pieces, and then we say goodbye to the straight wooden soap dish. The wood and the finish stay the same as before; only this shape is leaving the range.
The wood is pleasantly warm to the touch and the grooves keep the soap dry, so it lasts considerably longer. You can easily place one or two soaps and a shampoo bar on it at once. Do not keep it directly under running water; rub it with oil from time to time, or sand it lightly, and it will last for years. Any shampoo bar goes with it, as does any cold-process soap; you will find more pieces among our wooden accessories.
