In the middle of the cream dish glows a rich red heart with a delicate filigree pattern — and right inside it, a tiny heart-shaped hole. A romantic ceramic soap dish that looks like a little love note on the edge of the basin.
The heart is not just decoration: water drains through the hole, so the soap does not sit in a puddle and lasts longer. Raised feet and upturned edges keep the soap in place, and dry. Standing in water does a solid soap no good — and this dish simply will not allow it.
It makes a lovely gift for Valentine's Day, an anniversary or simply for the joy of it. As the decoration is made by hand, every piece differs slightly in the details — exactly as it should with handmade ceramics.
To make both soap and dish serve you as long as possible, let the soap dry after your shower and tip the water out of the dish now and then. Glazed ceramics clean with a single wipe. At 10.5 × 7.5 cm, it fits a standard bar of soap exactly. The heart pairs nicely with A Little Tenderness, a romantic soap, or with any of our cold-process soaps.
