Close your eyes and there it is: fragrant evergreen needles, a pinch of cinnamon, orange peel and, somewhere in the background, warm spice. The Scent of Christmas soy candle, set in an amber glass jar, brings a festive atmosphere even when no snow is falling outside the window yet. It is made from a blend of essential oils of fir, cinnamon, orange, lemongrass and star anise.
The candle is poured from soy wax with a cotton wick that burns cleanly and calmly. The amber glass with an aluminium lid looks lovely on the table and on a shelf, and once the candle has burned down, the jar can be washed and used again. A lovely gift for under the tree and a little something for guests.
To make it last as long as possible and burn evenly: before lighting, trim the wick to a few millimetres, and the first time you light it, let it burn until the wax melts right to the edge of the jar. Never leave it burning unattended and store it in a dry, dark place.
