A shampoo for men who care what is on their heads. This men's shampoo bar with caffeine supports hair growth and thickness: caffeine stimulates the hair roots, castor oil strengthens the scalp, and as well as cleansing, it nourishes and soothes the hair. A herbal-woody scent of cajeput and patchouli adds a proper masculine character — and the blue swirls on a white base look like the sea beneath a ship's keel. Every bar is marbled a little differently. On purpose.
Who is at the helm?
Caffeine. It is not in the recipe to look good on the label, but because it stimulates the hair roots on the scalp — exactly where hair thickness is decided. It is backed up by castor oil, a quiet workhorse that strengthens the scalp. The formula is vegan, and one bar replaces a whole bottle of liquid shampoo, so one more piece of plastic packaging disappears from the bathroom.
Vinegar rinse? No need.
A shampoo bar is not soap, so it needs no acidic extras — the whole routine has three steps and takes as little time as with liquid shampoo. Run it over wet hair a few times, massage the lather into your scalp and rinse with clean water. To make it last as long as possible, let it dry out between showers on a dry surface that lets water drain away; a soggy bar gets used up needlessly fast.
